Every Sunday evening at 5:30, you can come grocery “shop” for free in Bethesda’s fellowship hall.  Food is donated by local retailers, and typically includes produce and breads.  Please remember to bring your reusable bags!

Gleaning will continue, despite the closure of other church events due to the coronavirus outbreak.  However, a limited number of people will be allowed to enter the fellowship hall at one time.

To help curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, Bethesda Lutheran Church is suspending regular church services and Wednesday evening soup and bread dinners and Lenten services.  Our Easter Breakfast has also been canceled.  However, Sunday evening gleaning will continue.

If you have any of the symptoms of the novel coronavirus, including cough, fever, and/or difficulty breathing: As of today, March 8, 2020, Multi-Care is offering free e-visits to anyone with these symptoms.

At this time, we still plan to resume our regular free community dinners on the second and fourth Mondays in April.

At this time, we also plan to continue holding Wednesday night soup and bread dinners (6:00 pm in the fellowship hall) during lent.
